ABOUT ME

As a professional artist, I found my way back to teaching via the non-profit sector during the pandemic. I founded Zinnia Wellness Painting because I believe self care is essential in order for us to show up for others in a way that is sustainable. Prioritizing self care allows corporate leaders, healthcare providers and caregivers alike to provide effective support to others.

After earning my undergraduate degree in art and art history from Colby College, I continued my art education at the LeRoy E. Hoffberger School of Painting at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), where I received an MFA. I also hold a Certificate in the College Teaching of Art from MICA. Before founding Zinnia Wellness Painting, I worked as an adjunct professor at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, was responsible for sales administration at an international auction house and managed a commercial art gallery in New York City. I currently live with my husband in downtown Charleston, SC.

I look forward to working with you!

I’d love to work with you and your team. My workshop is designed for someone with little to no art experience who is seeking a new way to let go and recharge.
